New data
on micromammals of the Bug Gard National Nature
Park obtained in 2022–2023 are presented. Eight
species of this survey group were recorded. They
include three species of shrews of the family Soricidae
(Crocidura suaveolens, Sorex araneus, and Neomys
fodiens); four species of rodents of the family
Muridae (Sylvaemus uralensis, S. sylvaticus, Apodemus
agrarius, and Mus spicilegus); and one species of
rodents of the family Cricetidae (Microtus levis).
Two species were found for the first time in the
fauna of the Bug Gard NNP: Sylvaemus uralensis and
Neomys fodiens. Information on the morphometry and
habitats of the collected animals is presented. |
